Great Pay up to $36K
Immediate need for a Back Office Medical Assistant with Internal Medicine experience. Experience needed in the following:
Directs patient to proper exam/treatment area and prepares patient for examinations.
Assists in transportation of patients and patient flow.
Obtains records and reports vital signs and any other pertinent patient information to the RN, LVN or provider.
Documents administration of medication and performance of procedures in patient medical record.
Administers medication, various patient tests and procedures and instructs patients on procedural preparation within the scope of practice of a medical assistant.
Collects, labels, and transports various specimens to appropriate destination.
Maintains and cleans exam/treatment areas and medical equipment.
Maintains logs and other records of medical procedures.
-MUST HAVE 1 FULL YEAR OF EXPERIENCE.

Experience/Skills
A high school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent, Phlebotomy certification, Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program, Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers, TB & Hep B tested.
